As the story goes Ponce De Leon traveled the high seas to find the legendary fountain of youth but came up dry.

Saturday night WBO Jr. Featherweight champion Daniel Ponce De Leon of Chihuahua, Mexico ran face first into another Fountain of Youth, that being 24 year old undefeated Puerto Rican sensation Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez. It took Juanma all of 2:25 of the first round to send De Leon reeling before the ref stopped the fight saving Ponce from further abuse. As with his namesake, Ponce De Leon came up dry and is now without a title.
